Karnataka PGCET stands for Karnataka Post Graduate  Entrance Test. Karnataka PGCET 2018 will be organised by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is a state level entrance examination. Thru this examination candidate gets admission into the private/government/private un-aided colleges located in the state of Karnataka. Courses appeared for MBA/MCA/M.Arch/M.Tech/ME and 2nd year of MCA programme.  These courses are provided by the private/government/private un-aided colleges located in Karnataka. Karnataka PGCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria


MBA (Full Time/Part Time)       

Candidates have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent. OR Secure minimum 50% marks (SC/ST & Category candidates have to 45% marks aggregate)

For MCA  Pass

UG or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Computer Programming, Computer Application, Business Mathematics and Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects.

OR

Score aggregate at minimum 50% marks (candidates belong to SC/ST & Category I need to 45% marks)

MCA (Lateral Entry)

Pass BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics at 12th or graduate level.

OR

Obtain at list 50% marks (45% marks SC/ST & Category I of Karnataka candidates)

ME/M.Tech/M.Arch (Full Time/Part Time)

Pass UG qualifying or equivalent examination.

OR

Secure minimum 50% marks (45% marks if SC/ST & Category I of Karnataka candidates

Note: Valid GATE Score Card

Note: SC/ST/Category-I/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka Candidates only.

  • Candidates must belong to Karnataka state & have a domicile certificate of Karnataka state.
  • Candidates have a validGATE Score Card are not eligible to appear Karnataka PGCET exam 2018.

Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2018


Karnataka PGCET application available at online mode only. Any other mode will not be accepted. The application form will be released from the 1st week of July 2018 until Last week of July 2018. Once filling the application form, candidates advised must read the instruction.

 Applicants need to upload their scanned photograph, scanned signature & Left Hand Thumb Impression (in prescribed format). Candidates must enter their correct E-mail address and mobile numbers for future use.

Application Fee

  • Candidates can pay the application fee only through offline mode (Bank Challan) or. Candidates can pay from any of the branches of specified banks.
  • General & OBC category candidates have to Rs. 650
  • SC/ST Category have to Rs. 500).

Karnataka PGCET 2018 Hall Ticket


  • The admit card Available through online mode from KEA website or our website.
  • Karnataka PGCET Admit card 2018will be produced in the month of August 2018.
  • The admit card will contain candidate name, date & time of the exam, category, exam center address, gender, etc.
  • Applicants must preserve their Hall tickets till the admission process not over.

Karnataka PGCET 2018 Result


Karnataka PGCT result 2018 will be announced in the 3rd week of August 2018. Candidates can check their results through online mode from our website. the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks gained by the candidates in the exam. A particular merit list will be prepared for all the offered program. Candidates will be invited for the counselling process.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2018


Once the merit list is published, the counselling process will be beginning in the 1st week of September 2018. Shortlist candidates have to attend the counselling process in person (itself) for the seat allotment. Individuals have to choose the college/institution and stream on the counselling day.

The seat allotment will be on the basis of the marks secured by candidates in the examination.

Candidate’s original documents will be verified at the time of counselling.
