UPSC CAPF AC 2017
Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) AC (Assistant Commandants) exam 2017 is going to be organizing by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruiting aspirants as Assistant Commandants(AC) (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) such as Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) , Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

CAPF AC Exam 2017 Eligibility Criteria
Apply for this exam applicants must be an Indian citizen.
Male or Female applicants are eligible to apply but female applicants will not be appointed in
Minimum educational qualification need to apply for this exam is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Age limit of Applicants should be in between 20 – 25 years as on 1st August, 2017.

Applicants are capable to apply for CAPF AC Exam 2017 through online mode from the official web portal i.e. e www.upsconline.nic.in . Application form will be available from March, 2017 onwards. Paying the important amount of application fee is also a very important part of application procedure. UPSC has specified the application fee for CAPF AC exam 2017 as Rs. 200/-. Applicants belonging to SC/ST / female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

UPSC CAPF AC 2017 Exam Pattern (Read more)
Part I: Written Exam Pattern
Written exam will be dived into two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper II.
Paper 1st will be of General Ability and Intelligence consisting maximum 250 marks.
All questions of paper 1st will be objective type and set both in English as well as Hindi language.
Paper 2nd will be of General Studies, Essay and Comprehension consisting maximum 200 marks.
Part II: Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests
Applicants those have qualified in part I exam will be called for further process like Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.
Part III: Personal Interview/Personality Test
Applicants who have qualified in the part I and II, they will be further invited to attend the personal Interview/Personality Test. Total No. of marks for Interview/Personality Test will be 150.

Admit card of applicants will be available 3 weeks before commencement of the exam.
