SSC CHSL 2018 Complete Notification Application, Date, Eligiblity

SSC CHSL 2018 The notification of SSC CHSL 2017-2018 ( Combined Higher Secondary Level ) exam has been published on October, 2017. The Commission will carry out the recruitment drive to fill up 5134 post to the post of Postal Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator, and Court Clerk. The notification was carried to be released by SSC in July, 2017. But this time due to some official or technical reasons, the notification got displayed and has been released today. The SSC CHSL 2017 Exam will be conducted in online Computer Based Mode. The eligible person can apply through online mode. The Application form Process has started on October , 2017. The closing date to submit the SSC CHSL Application is November, 2017. This Exam is Computer Based Test (CBT) of SSC CHSL will be carry out from  January, 2018 to  February, 2018. The Admit Card for this exam will be released before two or three weeks prior the commencement of exam. Staff selection commission will declare the result of the CBT in April 2018. The Descriptive Test will be conducted on April 9, 2018.

Candidates will be selected for the Tier-III (Typing/Skill Test) on the basis of their performance in the Tier-I (Written Examination) and Tier-II (Descriptive Examination). SSC CHSL 2018 Eligibility Criteria

SSC CHSL Application Form 2017-2018

Mode of payment 

Payment of fees have be made both offline and online.
Payment of application form fee is exempted for all women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST, Physically Handicapped and Ex-servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government rules.
The candidates submitting application form offline (paper mode) should pay the fee of Rs 100 by Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only.
The Applicants submitting the application form online should pay the fee of Rs 100 by SBI Challan or Online payment by Net banking or credit/debit cards only.

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2017-2018

SSC this session 2017-18, has made some changes in the Exam Pattern of SSC CHSL 2017 exam. The applicants will appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Commission has included one more tier in the examination which is a Descriptive Exam. The Exam Pattern includes the type of questions, number of questions, marking scheme and exam period. The applicants appearing for the exam should be by with the Exam Pattern. 

Tier I – Computer Based Test

• There will be 4 parts of the a question paper.
• 25 questions each will be asked from these sections.
• These parts are – General Intelligence, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness.
• each section is 50 marks.
• Time Duration of the exam is 2 hours.
• Paper will consist of objective type.
• Questions will be set both medium in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV.
• There will be 0.50 negative marks for each wrong answer.

Tier II – Descriptive Test 
The Tier-II Paper of SSC will be a descriptive Paper which is 100 Marks. The test will be conducted in ‘Pen and Paper Mode type. The time duration of the paper will be for 1 hour. This paper has been checking the writing skills of the candidates which is necessary in all Government jobs. 
Tier-III – Typing /Skill Test
The Tier-III test will be the Skill Test / Typing Test.
