UP TET Eligibility Criteria 2022
Educational Qualification
The eligibility criterion is different for both primary and upper primary level candidates. The candidates must check eligibility criteria before going to apply.
For Primary Teacher Eligibility (Paper 1)
- Candidates should have 50% marks in 12th standard with 4 years diploma in BElEd.
- The candidates should have graduated with 2 years of B.T.C training. or
- The Candidates should have a graduate/post-graduate degree from a recognized University with 2 years D.El.Ed Diploma. or
- The candidate should have a graduation degree with 2 Years of BTC training in Hindi or Urdu.
Paper 2 Eligibility (Post-Primary Teacher)
- Upper primary teacher candidates should have a graduate or post-graduate degree from the recognized university NCTE with 50% of marks with 2 years of B.Ed diploma.
- The applicant should be a graduate degree with 2 years in D.El.Ed.
- Applicant should have 12th passed with 50% marks and 4 years of diploma in B.El.Ed. or B.S.C.D.
- The candidate’s age limit should be between 18 years to 35 years.
- Candidates have citizens of India/Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet

How to Apply UPTET 2022
- Firstly, candidates go to the official web page of Pareeksha Niyamak Pradhikari, Uttar Pradesh.
- Now, register themselves by entering require detail.

UP TET 2021 Exam Pattern:–
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test question paper will be multiple choice types of questions (MCQs).
Paper I (Primary Level): Paper I will be conducted to be a teacher of I to Vth Class.
Paper-II (Upper Primary Level): Paper-II will be conducted for VI to VIII Class teacher.

For PwD Candidates For Paper 1 have to pay Rs. 100/- and Rs. 200/- For Paper 1 & 2 both

Selection Procedure/ Score Card:-
The selection of candidates will be based on Written Exam marks. For those Candidates Who will Qualify for the UPTET Exam 2022, the respective Board will Provide a Score Card and Obtained marks by Candidates will be mentioned there. The Score Card will be Valid for 05 Years.
